Hi, We’re currently experiencing issues with Depthkit Core to work with the Depthkit VFX look on Unity. The version we’re currently working with is 2022.3.32.
Here are the steps and content we’ve followed:
-
Imported the Depthkit core / Shader / Depthkit VFX look into the project - The VFX Samples wouldn’t import so we had to construct the example Depthkit VFX look from scratch.
-
Configure the Depthkit object as per the documentation and advised on previous forum thread
Depthkit Visual Effects (VFX) Prefabs in Phase 10 Unity Packages Fail to Import -
Have tried on both HDRP and URP to test the compatibility - the Depthkit core look clips show up on URP, but the VFX Graph looks wont show on either URP or HDRP (A particle system spawns but doesn’t seem to be connected to the Position or Colour Map.
Screenshots and full error messages:
Renderer “GameObject”, targeted by VideoPlayer, has no material with a main texture property. Using the first one: “Hidden/VFX/TEST VFX/System (1)/Output Particle Cube: bakedTexture”.
UnityEditor.VideoPlayerEditor:OnEnable ()
The Visual Effect Graph is supported in the High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP) and the Universal Render Pipeline (URP). Please assign your chosen Render Pipeline Asset in the Graphics Settings to use it.
UnityEditor.VFX.VisualEffectResource:AddResourceDependencies (string)
Thanks
